Game summaries from Friday:

Game 1: After a slow start, we scored eight runs in the sixth to secure a 10-2 victory The big inning was driven by singles by Karli Little, Sierra Knight, and Lauren Johnson, a groundout RBI by Khyra Dilley, and a double by Johnson. Vanessa Pueblo also had an RBI in the 4th inning.

Annie Mansfield pitched and did not allow a hit until the 7th inning. She struck out 16 to earn the win.

Game 2: The Knights secured an 11-8 victory despite a big push by Bloomingdale in the third inning. We had enough offense early to survive the threat. Kenzie Tolin, Jahzara Ademodi, Annie Mansfield, Khyra Dilley, Lauren Johnson, and Knight all had one hit. Ademodi led Knights with three stolen bases, as we ran wild on the base paths with six total steals.

Mansfield and Johnson both hit doubles off the base of the center field wall.

Sierra Knight got the start on the rubber. She surrendered seven runs on four hits over five innings, striking out three in the win.
